Amanda Pena, M.A., LPC

Amanda is the owner and director of Spectrum Services and a Licensed Professional Counselor with extensive experience in supporting neurodivergent individuals. She specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other evidence-based approaches to help those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (Asperger’s), ADHD, and related social communication challenges.

With a deep understanding of anxiety, emotion dysregulation, and their impact on relationships, work, and education, Amanda helps clients manage sensory needs and anxiety that interfere with daily life. She is dedicated to empowering individuals to navigate their environments with confidence and success. Her therapeutic approach is collaborative and strengths-based, helping clients recognize their unique abilities while developing strategies to overcome challenges.

Beyond individual therapy, Amanda is passionate about equipping families with the tools they need to foster understanding and connection. As a parent of two wonderful children—one of whom is neurodivergent—she understands firsthand the complexities of parenting in a neurodiverse household. Through parent coaching, she provides practical guidance to help caregivers support, advocate for, and nurture their children through all stages of development.

Amanda is committed to creating an inclusive and affirming space where neurodivergent individuals and their families can thrive. Whether working with children, adolescents, or adults, her goal is to help clients build meaningful relationships, achieve personal growth, and develop the skills they need to lead fulfilling lives.


 

Kim, a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist, dedicated to supporting individuals with social communication challenges.

Kim Dolmanet, M.A., CCC-SLP

Kim earned her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Texas at Austin in 1998 and has over 25 years of experience working with adolescents and adults in both public schools and private clinical settings. Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to helping individuals with social learning and social communication differences build confidence and develop meaningful connections.

Kim is passionate about fostering a neurodiversity-affirming environment where individuals feel safe, understood, and empowered to navigate the social world in a way that aligns with their unique strengths and needs. Her approach is collaborative and client-centered, incorporating evidence-based strategies to support communication, self-advocacy, and social interaction skills.

With extensive experience working with neurodivergent individuals, including those with Autism, ADHD, and other communication differences, Kim tailors her therapy to each client’s goals—whether in school, the workplace, or everyday social interactions. She values a strengths-based approach that highlights each person’s abilities while providing tools to navigate challenges.

Recently, Kim relocated to the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area, but continues to serve clients in Texas as well as in Wisconsin, as she holds licensure in multiple states. She offers both in-person and virtual therapy, ensuring accessibility for individuals seeking support in their communication and social development.

CJ, as she prefers to be called, known for her approachable demeanor and efficiency, is the Office Manager at Spectrum. With over 15 years of administrative experience, she has a deep background in office management, payroll, and organizational operations, with 10 of those years spent in the healthcare industry.

Her exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to streamline processes make her an invaluable asset to Spectrum’s busy office. CJ excels in managing the day-to-day operations and ensuring smooth workflow, which enables the team to focus on providing top-notch services to clients.

Her compassion and strong communication skills help her build rapport with Spectrum’s clients, creating a welcoming and supportive atmosphere. Whether she’s assisting clients, coordinating schedules, or managing office logistics, CJ’s commitment to efficiency and client care ensures everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.


Dora, Office Assistant at Spectrum, dedicated to providing excellent customer service and supporting office operations.

Dora Silva-Grider

Dora, our Office Assistant, brings a wealth of experience from various industries, including marketing communications in technology, residential real estate sales, and, most notably, the healthcare sector. She spent 20 years working in the business office of a large surgical group, where she honed her skills in office operations, client relations, and administrative support.

Her background has equipped her with a unique ability to understand and empathize with clients’ needs while maintaining the high standards of service and communication necessary for a smooth-running office. Dora is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service, balancing the needs of both the clients and the office team.

At Spectrum, Dora excels in supporting day-to-day office operations, handling a variety of administrative tasks with precision and care.
