Personalized Care, Tailored to Your Needs

At Spectrum Social and Recreation Services, we are committed to providing the highest quality of care to our clients. Recognizing that no two individuals are alike, our services are personalized to meet the unique needs of those we serve. We prioritize a client-centered approach, ensuring that each person’s goals and well-being remain at the forefront of everything we do.

Our experienced providers deliver care with both expertise and compassion. By operating outside of traditional insurance limitations, we can offer flexible and comprehensive support that is not restricted by rigid policies, allowing us to focus on the best possible outcomes for our clients.

Payment & Funding Options

Spectrum Social and Recreation Services operates on a private pay model, meaning we do not file insurance or Medicaid for the services we provide. This model allows us to offer individualized care without the constraints often imposed by insurance companies. However, we collaborate with certain state and third-party agencies, such as CLASS, HCS, school districts, and other funding programs, to support families who receive financial assistance for services.

For more details on funding options, read our Funding Options for Services document.

Why Private Pay?

We understand that many individuals and families rely on insurance for healthcare services. However, we have chosen to operate on a private pay model to ensure that we can provide the highest quality care without unnecessary limitations. Here’s why:

  • Unrestricted Treatment Options: Insurance companies often impose strict policies on what types of treatment are covered, how long sessions can last, and what diagnoses qualify for services. By being private pay, we can offer the treatments that best fit our clients’ needs rather than being limited to what an insurance company deems necessary.
  • No Mandatory Diagnoses: Many insurance providers require a formal diagnosis to approve services, which then becomes part of a person’s permanent medical record. This can lead to unnecessary labeling, which may not always be in the best interest of the client. Private pay allows clients to receive services without requiring a diagnosis.
  • More Time Focused on Care: Insurance billing requires extensive paperwork, prior authorizations, and approval processes that can delay services. By eliminating this administrative burden, we can focus entirely on providing high-quality, timely care without bureaucratic delays.
  • Greater Flexibility in Treatment Plans: Private pay allows for individualized and creative treatment planning. We can customize session length, frequency, and modality without being restricted by what insurance will reimburse.
  • Improved Confidentiality: Insurance companies require detailed documentation, including diagnoses, session notes, and progress reports, which are stored in their databases. With private pay, clients maintain full control over their personal health information and who has access to it.
  • Competitive Pricing & Cost Transparency: Insurance-covered services often come with hidden costs such as deductibles, co-pays, and denied claims. Private pay eliminates unexpected expenses, ensuring full transparency in pricing. Without the overhead costs of insurance billing, we can keep fees as affordable as possible.
Our Services & Fee Ranges

We offer a broad range of specialized services to support individuals and families. Service fees vary based on factors such as provider experience, service type, and session duration. Our fees generally range from $65 to $275 per session, depending on the type of service and the provider’s qualifications.
