Spectrum operates primarily as a private-pay practice. We do not bill private insurance or Medicaid directly for most services.

Our private-pay model allows providers greater flexibility in determining the type, frequency, duration, and format of services based on the needs of the client rather than the requirements of an insurance plan.

Fees vary depending on the service, provider, and length of the appointment. Please contact our office for current pricing or questions about payment options.

Payment & Funding Options

Spectrum accepts private payment for services and may also work with certain third-party funding sources.

Depending on the service and client eligibility, funding may be available through programs or organizations such as:

  • CLASS
  • HCS
  • School districts
  • Other state, local, or third-party funding programs

Availability and eligibility vary by program. Clients are responsible for confirming coverage or funding requirements when applicable.

Why Private Pay?

There are several reasons Spectrum uses a private-pay model:

    • More Flexibility in Services: Insurance plans may place limits on covered services, session length, frequency, diagnosis requirements, or treatment approaches. Private pay allows providers and clients greater flexibility in determining what services are appropriate.

    • Services Without an Insurance-Required Diagnosis: Some services may be available without meeting the diagnostic requirements of an insurance plan.
    • Fewer Insurance Administrative Requirements: Private pay reduces the need for prior authorizations, insurance billing, claim submission, and other insurer-specific administrative processes.
    • Flexible Scheduling and Treatment Planning: Session length, frequency, and format may be determined based on the service and client rather than insurance reimbursement rules.
    • Less Information Shared With Insurance Companies: When insurance is not billed, Spectrum generally does not need to submit diagnoses, treatment information, or claims documentation to an insurance company for reimbursement.
    • Clearer Pricing: Clients are informed of Spectrum’s fees directly rather than relying on insurance deductibles, copays, coinsurance, or claim determinations.

Service Fees

Fees vary based on the type of service, provider, session length, and other factors.

Most services are billed per session. Some groups, programs, assessments, or other services may use different pricing structures.

Spectrum’s fees generally range from $65 to $275 per session, depending on the service and provider.

Psychological assessments and other services that involve testing, report preparation, consultation, or multiple appointments may be priced differently from standard session fees.

    • Psychotherapy: Individual, couples, and family therapy.

    • Behavior Support & Executive Function Coaching: Support for behavior, organization, planning, emotional regulation, attention, and related skills.
    • Speech-Language Therapy: Services addressing receptive and expressive language, social communication, articulation, prosody, fluency, and other communication needs.
    • Support for Schools: Consultation, training, behavior support, social communication programming, and other school-based services.
